Job Description

Structural Building Engineer

Our Structural Group is growing, and we are seeking a Structural Building Engineer to join our team in Woodridge or Chicago, IL. We are hiring for this position with options for both full-time and part-time schedules, depending on the candidate's availability and qualifications.

Here's what you'll do:

Perform Chicago Department of Buildings structural permit reviews
Provide occasional building inspection services
Provide smaller scale design of structural building repairs/renovations
Provide general support for the Structural Group

We're looking for:

Minimum of 5 – 10 years of building design and/or permit review experience required
Illinois S.E. license required
Inclusion on current Chicago Structural Peer Reviewer list is a plus
ComEd (inspection/design services) experience is a plus
Ability to do occasional building inspection work is a plus
