The Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics, negotiating deals, and managing vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders, forecast market trends, and ensure clear requirements documentation. Analyze costs, mitigating risks, and determining optimal delivery quantities and timings.What You'll Be Responsible For:Develop. Lead and execute purchasing strategies.Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.Review purchase requests and approve all purchase orders while maintaining SOX compliance.Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier powerOversee all Receiving functions for incoming goods of above procured items and help solve problems as they arise as well as implement preventative guidelines.Negotiate contracts proactively with suppliers for various products and services.
